THere's really no sensible answer to that. France is fairly long North-South, and had both lowlands and alpine regions - so climate in France can be quite different from one spot to another. On average Summer in France is mildly hot on the western side (due to the influence of the Atlantic) and rather hot in the easternmost part of the country and in the part borduring the Mediterranean sea.
