It is under the rear seat on the passenger side. Tire iron and jack are secured underneath with a large handscrew.
The jack and tire iron in the Jeep Liberty is located under the right rear seat. There is a large knob, easily visible, when you look in that area. Turn it counterclockwise to release the jack and tire iron. On my car the knob is very hard to turn. It think this answer would apply to all Jeep Liberty's. It is changing by weathering because when it rains a lot and the Statue of Liberty is made from a little bit iron, the iron gets wet and rusts the Statue of Liberty.
