There is a routing diagram for either the EVAP or EGR system under your hood. That will show you where, but i will try to explain also. Open your hood. underneath the windshield wipers there is a rubber weather strip running horizontal. Probably right in the middle of that rubber strip and an inch or two below it is where the MAP sensor is located. It has a ground wire directly to the left of it and another wire routed to the intake manifold.
Where is the engin temperature gauge sensor located on the 1999 cadillac catera?
I would like to know where the cam sensor is on a 1999 pathfinder and is there one or they calling it a crank shaft sensor The cam shaft position sensor is located in the distributor.
I would like to know the samething!
looks like a normal sensor, I have a 2002 intrigue, it is located just above the starter, you have to take out the starter in order to take it out.
1999-2005 Mazda Miatas do not really run MAP sensors like Hondas, they use a Mass Air Flow Sensor, the black, tubular piece on top of the air box. Miatas do have a boost sensor, and that is located on the intake manifold, half way down on on the lower section.
The bank 1 sensor is located front and center on your engine. It looks somewhat like a spark plug. It has 3 wires leading into it from a wiring harness located about 12 inches to the left of the sensor. It is at the top, front of the engine, partially covered by your exhaust shroud.
it should be in the intake tube(black tube from your filter) theres like a sensor(IAT)on it
There is no MAP sensor on a 1999-2000 Mazda Miatas. There is a boost sensor that assists with controlling the EGR Valve solenoid and a few other features, and is located on the passenger side on the lower part of the intake manifold, and says "Boost Sensor" on it. The primary sensor for monitoring incoming air and fueling is done by the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF), not MAP (like Hondas). This is located on top of the stock air box and is a black, cylindrical tube about 6" long.
is located under the ing on the left side, by the ing block orbehind the serpenting bell, way underneath the engine , is ease to replace, there is only one bolt to remove and pull the sensor out it has like a small nipple . left side as you are facing the vehicle .
It is located next to the intake AIR FILTER, the only FLAT SURFACE in the air hose with 2 small screw and electronic cord/s
The sensor between the cat and the engine is the air fuel ratio sensor, it looks like an o2 sensor. The o2 sensor is between the cat and the tail pipe. The forward sensor is the af sensor t he rear one is the o2 sensor. Thar answer is for the calif. vehicles. Fed may be different but I dont think the 4 runner had two o2s like some of the sedans. fairly visable tho.
Hey, its very simple, it is located under the engine on one of the exhaust pipes, looks just like O2 sensor. unscrew it with a wrench, unplug it, and replace with a new one, hope it helps.
