The Jaguar Inn is located RIGHT next to the park, but is rather expensive ($75ish/night). I recommend you just find a cheap little place in Flores (about an hour away). They have shuttles constantly going to and from Tikal. You will have no problem getting there or back. Plus, Flores is a city located on an island in the middle of a lake, which is a really neat tourist attraction. Neat shops everywhere. That's what I usually do when I go to Tikal. I live in Guatemala and I've done the trip twice.
