under the second row passenger seat
Under the back seat
it is under the floor pan between the front seats you have to crank it down and then fish it out from under the vehicle
In the compartment at floor level, driver side, beside tailgate.
dodge went bankrupt in 1982. there is no spare tire in the caravan.
Between the first and second rows there is a carpet flap that lifts. You will then see a crank that cranks down the spare tire. the spare tire is actually outside of the Odysseys interior, but the crank is inside.
Insert the jack crank handle into the hole in the back near the license plate and crank the spare down until you can release it from the cable.
Crawl underneath with a cresent wernch. A small bit of the hex shaft is exposed. You can get wrench on it. Slow process, but effective.
On the passenger side in the back seat, push the seat forward you will then find a crank handle. Open the crank as it is folded. You will find a slot put the crank in the slot and turn the crank until it stops. You will then find the spare tire on the ground under the trunk portion of the car. You can turn the bolt on the chain and you can remove the spare tire.
I have a 2003 Dodge grand caravan and the spare tire is located right below the front seats. On the floor board in between the seats there is a cap over a stud that lowers the tire. It is very similar to a p/u truck. The jack on mine is located in the back cargo area on the left side. The wheel well is plastic and there is a door that comes off. Inside you should find the jack and the tool to crank down the tire. If you bought this used, I would not be suprised if it was not there.
A tire jack & iron (wrench) should be tucked in the rear compartment (cargo area); pull the rubber plug off the spare tire eyelet; simply fit the elongated tire iron (wrench) to the spare tire eyelet located in the floor; fit the jack on the tire iron and turn counter-clockwise; the tire will begin to lower.
If it has the mid mounted spare, no.
The factory wiring harness for the trailers will plug in under the back of the vehicle in the area of the spare tire, the harness plugs into the wiring harness for the tail lights.
