∙ 11y agoFish belonging to the snake head family, channidae, are not found anywhere in Texas; at least not legally. This is for good reason. An interesting genus in its own right, but ultimately too dangerous to have in Texas waters. If you do find them in Texas, report it to TPWD. If you desire evil-looking and exotic fish, try alligator gar.
