If you are interested in tourist attractions then the many government buildings, monuments and memorials as well as the world class museums are a must. Most of these are located within a mile of the National Mall.

If you want to enjoys sports then you can catch a Wizards Basketball game, DC United Soccer game, or see the Washington Nationals play Baseball.
