If it is near the back of your earring, you might be having an allergic reaction to the material that your eraring is made of. I have this happen to me as well. I can only wear nickel free earrings. Just take your earring out for a few days and the bump should go away.

My mom did all of the above to me and my ears are healing now! :DReal Answer:Soap and water daily while moving the jewellery back and forth to allow the soap solution into the piercings, then flush the piercing with lots of warm running water (best to do this in the shower after your shampoo and conditioner). You will see a change in the piercing within 24 to 48 hours. Never use Polysporin or Neosporin on a piercing, it clearly says not to use it on a puncture wound or a deep wound (piercings are puncture wounds).
