Open under the steering Wheel, there you`ll see
On every (unless specified) engine, the #1 plug is the one closest of the crank pulley. If you take time to check the 2 front plug, you will see that the driver side one is a bit closer. So it's that one....;) Hope it helped. Regards.
You should first take a look at the manual to see if that will help. If you are still having troubles, contact the manufacturer.
While I do not KNOW specifically where this is on a Grand Vitara, there are 'rules' for OBD-II (onboard diagnostics, version 2), that have been required for cars sold in America since around 1996. (Before then was OBD-I with more non-standard configurations.) ODB-II designs specify that EITHER of these two configurations are used for the connector: 1. The connector be located underneath the area of the steering wheel column...so look around under the dash on the driver's side to see if the connector is there. (It may have a rubber or plastic cover over it protecting the pins.) 2. If the connector is NOT installed under the area of the steering wheel column, A LABEL MUST BE PUT IN THAT GENERAL AREA SPECIFYING WHERE THE OBD-II CONNECTOR HAS BEEN INSTALLED. So look around under the dash in the vicinity of the Steering wheel. There SHOULD either be the connector, or a label saying where the connector actually is. Good Luck!
Look to the rear of the driverside valve cover. You will see if at this entry point. Remove the hose and simply pull it out and replace it with the new one.
The OBD II Diagnostic Data Link is located on the drivers side directly under the fuse panel. It's there just hard to see.
Under the coin holder in the center console. Just pull up on the coin holder and remove and you will see OBD II port.
Hello Its under the driver seat look for a letterbox cut out in the carpet trim flap it down you will see the the scaner plug in unit
Normally old/worn wipers will make more noise because the rubber is dried out, stiff and fighting the glass. If you replace the wipers and still have noise, usually its a twisted wiper arm (but this situation is rare - changing wipers solves the problem 99% of the time). See sources and related links below for information on Suzuki Grand Vitara wiper blades.
Check the wiper transmission to see if it's seizing & burning motors. Possible linkage/pivot problem. Check forst to see you have power to motor.
this could be caused by a fuel problem, not spark. check to see if your getting spark to the plug. ck to see if the injector is firing, and run a compression test on that cylinder
i suggest you look under the hood,an see ifit has a data sticker,that say's there's no timimg reguired.the 2002 i know has a timing sensor,which change's the timing atomatically.
