*Patroclus Youth: He killed his friend and he and his father fled to Phthia. There he met Achilles and they became friends. He was raised with Achilles by Chiron, in the wilderness. Trojan war: When the Trojans threatened their ships, he convinced Achilles to let him wear Achilles' armour and lead the Myrmidons into combat against the Trojans. He disobeyed Achilles' order to break off once the ships were saved and pursued the Trojans all the way back to the gates of Troy. He was killed by Hector, after being stunned by Apollo and wounded by Euphorbos.
