Anne Frank was at Auschwitz for approximately 7-8 weeks. According to records, she arrived at Auschwitz at the beginning of September, and was transported to Bergen-Belsen at the end of October.
Edith Frank was Anne Frank's mother. She, along with Anne's father Otto Frank and sister Margot, went into hiding with Anne during World War II in an attempt to evade capture by the Nazis. Edith sadly passed away in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945.

anne frank got caught because she was a Jewish girl so at that time the Jewish were not like by Hitler the leader of the Nazis. that's why she was caught by the gestapo in the annex
Anne Frank went into hiding soon after her 13th birthday. She was born on June 12, 1929 and went into hiding in July 1942 . The character of Anne in the Goodrich and Hackett play is somewhat fictionalized and sentimentalized. Also, the play ends with the capture. The last seven months of Anne's life in the Nazi meat grinder finally destroyed her as a person. Bottom line, the Anne Frank in the play is nohing like the Anne Frank who eventually died in Belsen.
i think they became a tinch closer because edith frank (annes frank mother)was going to be transported because she didnt have scabes like anne did or her sister (margot frank)so when they were getting in the truck she yelled that she is staying with her daughter and anne looked at her mother with tears coming out of her eyes and though she was brave for saying that and then her mother looked at her and anne smiled and her mother smiled back
