The Treaty of Versailles was a treaty which stated that all German forces had to leave and go back to Germany and it also said that Germany could no longer build of forces. PS i am in 8 grade.
The treaty of Versailles was an cause of the Holocaust. The demands placed on Germany in the treaty required the country to give lands back to the Allied forces or back to the people that had populated them, such as East Prussia which was supposd to be returned to Poland. In addition to this provision, the heartland of Germany also had to accept military forces being stationed throughout Germany to guard against another war for the following fifteen years. The central part of Germany was demilitarized.
the Battle of the Bulge
D-Day and the following months landed huge Allied forces with armour and artillery support. This forced the German armies back into Germany.
Huh? France was invaded by the Allied Forces (mainly the Americans and the Brits). It took time for the Allied Forces to get France completely freed of the German Nazi presence. Germany had taken over France back in 1940 and the allies took it back in 1944. The liberation did not occur on D-Day. It was only the first day the Allied Forces had reached Normandy and started fighting the Nazi Germans. See the related link below for the fabulous story of the liberation in August 1944.
The impacts it had were that it totally demoralized Germany because of it being their first major defeat and a humiliating of one. It lead to the turning point of the war and Germany started to retreat after this battle. After failing to claim the soviet oil fields, the soviets were on high which used that to their advantage to smash the German eastern front forces and force them to retreat back to Germany.
