She began by performing in karaoke clubs all over her current home state, Pennsylvania. After a while, a producer noticed her. Taylor Swift was welcomed into the Indie Records Industry and soon made her first song there, 'Our Song' for her school talent show. Indie wasn't impressed and decided to tell Taylor to either continue with them and let them write songs for her, or leave and continue being her own songwriter. Taylor quit and lost her career there. Soon after a few months performing in karaoke clubs more, she had another producer become interested in her. His name was Nathan. Taylor soon became a part of Big Machine Records. She later released her first single there, 'Tim McGraw' when she was 14, with the help of her songwriter soulmate, Liz Rose. She and Liz continued to write songs, and that was only the beginning...
