He was with prince Edward x at his father Phillips bedside after he was hospitalized with a bladder infection Incorrect! Actually he is in India on Diamond Jubilee duties.
Princess Anne, now known as the Princess Royal, and Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, had lower media profiles because they are not direct heirs to the throne. Andrew is fourth in line, while Anne is 10th. It was the same for their younger brother Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, who is seventh in line. Much of the media attention at the Diamond Jubilee events went to the family of the Queen's eldest son, Prince Charles, who is the direct heir to the throne.

Is this a serious question?? Short answer: he was at the celebrations, all weekend, accompanied by his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie. He was at the Derby, took part in the flotilla on the Thames, was clearly seen to be sitting in the Royal Box at the Jubilee Concert, and at St. Paul's Cathedral for the Service of Thanksgiving. However, at the Queen's request, only those in direct line for the Monarchy and their wives (plus Prince Harry) accompanied her on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the Fly-past and the Feu de Joie.
Prince Edward, the queen's youngest son, though not shown in a lot of pictures, was at the Jubilee. His exact whereabouts is not known. Prince Philip, the queen's husband, was in the hospital with a bladder infection and could not attend the Jubilee. The Queen was visibly upset about it.
Prince Andrew.
Buckingham palace
Much of the media attention at the Diamond Jubilee events went to the family of the Queen's eldest son, Prince Charles, who is the direct heir to the throne. Remember, the queen has four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The balcony at Buckingham Palace would be awfully crowded if all of them made an appearance.
Prince Andrew is older than Prince Edward by 4 years.
Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, is 57 years old (born February 19, 1960).He is the third oldest of Queen Elizabeth's four children: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.
