I know two Arks mentioned in the bible. Noah and his Ark, and The Ark of the covenant.
The Ark of the Covenant in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is actually referring to a religious chest that was used to hide sacred writings. This chest, according to the Bible, contains the slates within which are written the Ten Commandments mentioned in the Bible.
