Chupacabra are not real. False identifications have been made of wild coyotes or dogs with severely untreated mange, a parasitic mite that gives the skin of the animal a grey, scaly appearance and causes the skin on the face to become taught, exposing the teeth more prominently. Mange is a common parasite, often treated in domestic dogs. The same mites cause Scabies in humans. Our immune system has no problem fighting off these mites, but dogs/coyotes are less advanced, leading to extreme cases of infestation, sometimes into the millions per individual.
The word is spelled chupacabra. A chupacabra is a cryptid often reported have been seen sucking the blood of livestock. It a creature that has been reported to have been seen but there is no scientific evidence to prove that these creatures exist.

A chupacabra is a dog-like looking creature. Many people say that it is a cryptid or legendary creature. It was first found when farmers started finding dead livestock that had appeared to been killed by an animal that had sucked the livestocks blood but had left the carcasses behind. Some scientist believe that people that have seen the chupacabra have just seen a wolf or some wild canine with a disease such as mange. The chupacabra has been described as, by people who have claimed to have seen it or caught it, having a hairless gray body and glowing red eyes and it looks like it has the build of a coyote or dog. It is unknown if the chupacabra is real or just a myth.
