In 1885 was the two wheeler (though supported by another two wheels at the sides) 'Rietwagen' made by Gottlieb Daimler.
The first to use the term motorbike (@ the German 'motorrad' as still used i German language) was Hildebrandt & Wolfmüller in 1894!
This was the first production motorbike too.
In between those two was the french 'Motocyclette' of 1893 made by Felix Millet

Difficult question: Its evident that the first to think of the name motorbike might have been an American or englishman, but since the first motorbikes was developed in Germany and France isn't the question relevant. The German Hildebrandt & Wolfmüller was the first to be designated with the term 'motorrad' wich still is the used German word for motorbike!
