There are a few lint removers from Amazon that could fit in your purse. One is the 3M Scotch 836-B2 Lint brush that effectively removes lint and the other one is the Sticky Master Tape-less Lint Remover. The Sticky Master is a 2 piece set with a travel size that fits right into your purse.
You could always try using a lint roller or remover, and if that doesn't work, then tape would probably be your best bet.
There are several ways to remove lint from a black blazer. One can purchase a lint remover that is covered in sticky material that will lift off the lint, or else a velour covered brush if the fabric is textured. Alternatively one could use lengths of sticky or duct tape with the sticky side out to take off the bits.

Buy a lint roller, or a lint brush. And lint the knit BEFORE wearing it, and after you put it on to make sure all lint is removed. Also, it helps if you have someone lint you so they can get all areas. :-)
