Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac were not born when the world wide flood came. Abraham was a descendant of Shem, one of Noah's sons. (approximately 9 generations between Shem and Abraham.)
The flood and time of Noah was several generations before Abraham and Isaac. Geneology from Adam can be seen in Luke 3.
Abraham did not believe what God told him. God told Abraham that he and his wife Sarah would have a baby. But Abraham thought it was impossible because Sarah was in her 90s. So Sarah told Abraham to sleep with with Hagar there servant, there child was Ishmael. Later, Sarah changed her mind and made Abraham send Hagar and Ishmael away. Some time after this Abraham slept with Sarah and she became pregnant with Isaac.
Abraham's wife was Sarah. When she reached old age without children, she urged Abraham to attempt to father a child with her servant, Hagar, in order to perpetuate his line. Abraham complied with Sarah's urging, and fathered Ishmael. Sarah later did give birth to Isaac, by Abraham. Some time after Sarah's death, Abraham remarried in his old age, to K'turah.
Isaac was the only son of Abraham and Sarah. Genesis 21:2, 3: So Sarah became pregnant and then bore a son to Abraham in his old age at the appointed time God had promised him. 3 Abraham named his newborn son, whom Sarah bore to him, Isaac.
The time lapse between Abraham leaving his home country (Ur) and Sarah giving birth to Isaac was about 25 years. Abraham left Ur when he was 75 years old, and Isaac was born when Abraham was 100 years old.
There is no mention in the Bible of Abraham and Sarah being separated at the time of Sarah's death. Genesis 23:2 states that Abraham went to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her after her death, indicating that they were together at the time of her passing.
Abraham had two sons when he was married to Sara. The first, Ishmael was through her maidservant Hagar. The second, was Isaac, born to Sarah when she was quite old. However, after Sarah died, he took another wife, Keturah. Through her he fathered six additional sons.(Genesis 16:15) 15 Later on Ha′gar bore to A′bram a son and A′bram called the name of his son whom Ha′gar bore Ish′ma·el.(Genesis 21:1-3) . . .. 2 And Sarah became pregnant and then bore a son to Abraham in his old age at the appointed time of which God had spoken to him. 3 Accordingly Abraham called the name of his son who had been born to him, whom Sarah had borne to him, Isaac.(Genesis 25:1, 2) 25 Furthermore, Abraham again took a wife, and her name was Ke·tu′rah. 2 In time she bore him Zim′ran and Jok′shan and Me′dan and Mid′i·an and Ish′bak and Shu′ah.See related link on Abraham.
Abraham and Sarah lived in Canaan, which many hundreds of years later became Judah and parts of Samaria. At one time Abraham and Sarah traveled to Egypt and stayed there a short time.
Sarah. Sarah is the grandmother of Jacob, Sarah is the mother of Jacobs father "Isaac" and she is the wife of our Father Abraham who is the father of Isaac. Jacob's mothers name was "Rebekah".
When Abraham was approximately 86 years old the Lord promised Abraham that he would have an heir, and that Abraham's descendants would be as numerous as the stars and to his descendants God would give them the land from the river of Egypt to the great river, Euphrates ( Genesis 15). This was a reassurance of the promise in Genesis 12. We know that about this same time period, Sarah told Abraham to go into her handmaid, Hagar, and that perhaps they might have an heir by her. This was a mistake. Ishmael was born from this union and about 14 years later a son, Isaac was born to Sarah and Abraham. Abraham was 100 years old (Genesis21:1-7.) Isaac was the son of promise.
No, there were no Jews or Gentiles at that time. He was an ancestor of Abraham. Jews are the descendants of Abraham and his son Isaac.
Sarah was 91 when Isaac was born. In Genesis 17:17 Sarah was promised she would have a child in a year at which time she was 90 years old. Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, "Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?"
