I have used Paper Source products for both making invitations and for other papercrafts, like Scrapbooking. I've been happy with both the paper and envelopes I've used. If you intend to print directly onto the paper, I'd suggest going for a paper that is light in color and not metallic. I printed on metallic paper with an inkjet printer and the ink smeared.
Black garbage cans can regularly be found in department stores such as Target or Walmart. Chrome garbage cans are not likely to be found in chain stores, but would warrant looking on Amazon or Craigslist.
The best place to get sturdy garbage cans is at Canadian Tire or Lowes. They have those special ones that won't come open if even knocked over and can't be torn apart.

A garbage can can come in various sizes, including 10 gallons, but not all garbage cans are that size. Common sizes for household garbage cans range from small (around 2-4 gallons) to larger options (20 gallons and up). To determine if a specific garbage can is 10 gallons, you would need to check its specifications or labeling.
I assume you mean "garbage cans", not "garage cans". I don't know how many garbage cans are sold each year in the US. I do know that a new heavy duty garbage can on wheels is assumed to last only 5 years. In reality, I think most people use a garbage can for longer than that.
