I have used Paper Source products for both making invitations and for other papercrafts, like Scrapbooking. I've been happy with both the paper and envelopes I've used. If you intend to print directly onto the paper, I'd suggest going for a paper that is light in color and not metallic. I printed on metallic paper with an inkjet printer and the ink smeared.

I assume you mean "garbage cans", not "garage cans". I don't know how many garbage cans are sold each year in the US. I do know that a new heavy duty garbage can on wheels is assumed to last only 5 years. In reality, I think most people use a garbage can for longer than that.
