The thermostat on a 3.7 or 4.7 is under the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine. All other Dakota engines it is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches.
It would, but it is not a good idea.
The choke thermostat is part of carbureted fuel system. Since 1987, all Dodge trucks have been fuel injected. Therefore, a 1999 model would not have a choke thermostat
i would like to know where is the thermostat on a 2002 Honda located
The dealership would be a good place to start.
If it is from the same year and engine size it would be the same.
Thermostat? or radiator? Greg
The thermostat is located under the throttle assembly. It is at the top end of the LOWER radiator hose. Gotta leave it to the Japanese, who would have thought to put a thermostat there?
underneath the alternator on most Dodge V8 engines underneath the alternator on most Dodge V8 engines
Try the rad. fan or the rad. fan relay
taking for grant this 2000 suburban has a 5.3 eng in it. the thermostat would be located on the water pump, behind the water outlet that the upper hose connects to
It would depend on what vehicle you have but generally it is located very close to the thermostat housing in most vehicles.
In most cases if your follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine, the thermostat would be located inside the "gooseneck" at the engine end of the upper hose.
