need more info. year and engine size? Most likely a bad sensor sending incorrect info back to the computer which sensor depends on year. It is a 1991 Camaro RS V6 3.1

The 1991 BMW 520 distributor Can be found on the back side of the engine. The distributor Will be on the top of the engine.

On a 1999 Camaro, the map sensor is located on the back of the intake manifold. The intake manifold is the series of tubing that distributes the air coming into the engine.
Disconnect the battery + Positive cable for 15 minutes. The computer will reset. Of course if you don't fix the problem that caused the check engine light to come on in the first place it will just come back on.
