Where would be the perfect location for a weekend getaway within the UK?

Cornwell's south east because of the beautiful scenery, fishing village, and historic buildings. The fishing village is very similar to that shown in the Jaws movies filmed in Martha's Vineyard. I think the entire family would enjoy seeing the area and experiencing the wonderful smells in the air.

If you are just going for a weekend I would recommend going somewhere local or at least within a reasonable driving distance from where you live. That way you spend only a little time traveling and more time vacationing!

Emmaus is a weekend gathering where Christians are allowed to see the love of Jesus through other Christians. It comes from when after Jesus was crucified and some of the disciples were walking on the road to the city of Emmaus they encountered Jesus. They did not know it was Him but later on they thought about it and asked themselves, "Did not our hearts burn within us?" It's a great spirit filled weekend that lasts your whole life.
