Well, as outlined in the repair manual, both the door glass and the motorized quarter glass have hinges that are bolted to the body. Neither glass should "fall out". Sounds to me like the hinges are no longer securely attached to the glass. Take it to a glass shop or body shop to have it properly repaired.

It is assumed that you are referring to the rear hatch glass and lower door. If the hatch glass is not releasing, check the fuse that controls power to the switch and lock. If you are referring to the door iteself, you will probably have to remove the inner panel of the door to access the lock mechanism. If you are not 'handy' with tools you may have to take it to a repair shop or dealer.
