You just have to point Limewire to the folder in which you are currently storing your music through the Limewire preferences.
Unless you changed where youre Limewire saves your downloaded music files it typically saves them in a smaller folder inside of a larger folder that holds your applications. On a mac you would have to click finder, applications and then find limewire and your music should be there. on windows you might have to go to windows explorer to find the limewire folder that has your music. You can also check where limewire is saving your songs in your application preferences. Once you locate where limewire is saving your files go into iTunes and click file, add to library. then click browse and navigate through that menu the same way you did to find your files from limewire, click on them and click add.
Have you loooked in ALL PROGRAMS in yoour PC ? You should be able to find LIMEWIRE there and it should be called LIMEWIRE. Also try going to add/remove programs

If LimeWire is not connecting the advice from LimeWIre is: 1. Delete all versions of LimeWire, and delete your preferences directory (/Users/username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire). Delete the "install limewire" receipt from the "Macintosh HD/Library/Receipts" folder. 2. Delete all LimeWire aliases and installers from your desktop and Dock. 3. Restart your computer. 4. Redownload LimeWire You may also need to configure your Firewall settings to allow LimeWire to connect through the Firewall.
I used Limewire for awhile, until it started crashing my system. I find that Ares is a better program and has never glitched.
You do find information about the peer to peer file sharing client Limewire through their own official site "LimeWire". Limewire is under a court order dated october 26, 2010 to stop distributing the limewire software.
