Vassili Zaitsevs rifle is exhibited in the Volgograd State Panoramic Museum today, its been exhibited there since 1951.
Vasily Grigoryevich Zaitsev was born on March 23, 1915 and died on December 15, 1991. Vasily Grigoryevich Zaitsev would have been 76 years old at the time of death or 100 years old today.
10-100 USD or so
The marlin model 1893 rifle was only made from 1893-1936.It was the first Marlin rifle made for smokeless powder.I would say that your rifle was not made in 1946 though. You may have a Marlin model 36 rifle, which would handle any commericial made ammo on the market today.
You would have to first define what a "commando rifle" is.
With Today's prices, anywhere from $350 -$450 would be a fair price, depending on condition.
Would the front sight hood for what be compatible with a G98/40, which by the way, is not a Mauser. The standard K98 sight hood will fit on a G98/40 rifle, but it will not sit well and would not be correct. The 98/40 used a proprietary sight hood that no other rifle in the world used. They are exceptionally rare today.
The value of a Winchester model 330 rifle would be dependent upon a couple different factors. The main factor would be the condition of the rifle.
The same as you would any other rifle.
A rifle, because it is longer.

This rfle was produced by Winchester (model 121) and was also sold in Sears stores with the Sears name on it. A total of 72,561 were made between 1967 and 1973. It was made in youth, standard, and deluxe models. A unique feature is the front locking lugs on the bolt, which makes for a very sturdy rifle. This was the first rifle I ever purchased, and still have it 40 years later. A very good condition rifle would probably be worth $100 to $125 today.
Today would be yesterday.
