Towards the body of the guitar. The frets closest to the body of the guitar play higher notes when you hold them down than others.
you press it down.
Yes low.
Action refers to the height of the guitar strings from the fretboard. For High action the strings are farther away making it harder to press the strings down. Low action is the opposite.
there are six strings on the guitar E A D G B e the lower sounding strings are the low E and A the middle strings are D and G and the higher sounding strings are the B and high e
You would use the same strings as on the guitar, but use only nylon strings, not wire. The wire would be higher tension and more likely to damage things.
Guitar strings sound diffrent simply because of the diffrent manufacturers manufacturing different guitar strings. An experienced guitar player knows the manufacturers ID (which is usually written on the guitar string package) and only buys guitar strings from that specific manufacturer. Of course there are other factors explaining how diffrent guitar string manufactuers make their guitar strings, but that starts getting to complicated.
The guitarron is an enormous Mexican acoustic bass guitar, with six strings tuned ADGCEA, from low to high.

By Pressing down the strings on the "frets" (the long skinny part of the guitar, has dots on it". The strings are (from highest to lowest, thinnest to thickest) E,B,G,D,A,E. So, If you wanted to play the note, F. You would press down on the first "fret" of the low or high E string. Hope this helps!
