well in the first episode you kinda see yondaime and kyuubi but they hardly battle honestly i don't think they will ever battle but in the manga (spoiler) hinata battles pein (leader of the akastuki) to protect naruto... she confesses her love but does from being stabbed... naruto gets mad and gets all 8 tails on pein but b4 he releases the ninth tail yondaime stops naruto... u can see kyuubi trying 2 argue with yondaime but yondaime ignores him

Kyuubi was forced to attack Konoha. You cannot kill an immortal and all the bijuu are immortal. The most the Yondaime could do was seal Kyuubi in his son, Naruto, who was only hours old. The sealing jutsu he used took his life. Madara forced Kyuubi to kill innocent people. I doubt Kyuubi would have wanted to attack. He seems like the kind of creature to attack only when provoked.
