Europe and North America are the only two continents completely north of the equator.
Assuming you are on the same side of the equator, they are essentially the same. North of the equator, summer in Kansas is the same as summer in Belgium. But summer in Kansas and Belgium is Winter in Australia (South of the equator).
Laurasia is like Pangaea where all of the continents were put together before. This is a theory that all of the continents were once together and that there is plate tectonics. This is not evidence of plate tectonics because no one was around to see it happening. It is just a theory! But it seems very clear that it is true because the continents are moving and the continents look like a huge puzzle. For example, the west side of Africa and the east side of South America look like they fit together! If the continents are moving away from each other they must have once been together.
northern hemisphere . because .. the Continent we live in is north America and north America is on the north side so that means America is on the northern side.
The hemispheres are North and South, or Eastern and Western. A hemisphere is half a sphere so there can only be two - at a time. The equator divides the Earth's surface into North and South. The prime meridian defines Eastern from Western. At the far side of the Earth, the eastern and western hemispheres meet near the International Date Line (180°E and 180°W longitude).
Europe and North America are the only two continents completely north of the equator.
North America and Europe.
The United States is north of the equator.
California is on the north side of the equator.
Arizona is on the north side of the equator.
Yemen is entirely north of the equator.
the tropical of cancer is on the north side of the equator.
on the north side
north
Because 90 degrees north is the north pole, and 90 degrees south is the south pole. If you go more than 90 degrees north from the equator, you'll be completely over the top, much like many of the questions you see here. When that happens, you're coming down the other side, and you're less than 90 degrees north of the equator on that side.
The North Side. It flows North and empties into the Mediterranean Sea.
No. Cozumel is North of the Equator. It is in Central America. Towards the North side of Central America, too.
