Western Hemisphere, because it is west of the Prime meredian and Northern Hemisphere because it is located above the Equator.
Strange as it may seem, there is also a tiny part of the USA in the Eastern Hemisphere. It's the western portion of the Aleutian chain of islands that dangles from the "chin" of Alaska, and keeps going, across the meridian of 180 longitude into the eastern hemisphere. It's all part of the state of Alaska, and part of the US.
The United States is not really in two hemispheres its mainly in the north hemi (hemisphere) and not south you could say it's in the south but it isn't.
