LG are still using the older technology with passive glasses. Although this means there is no possibility of flicker, it also reduces effective resolution to only 540 lines. Crosstalk in the later active 3D televisions is almost non-existent now.
Oh yeh! Being a journalist I attend LGs FPR 3d tv launch in Mumbai on 26th. It's not film type tv, it's a 3d tv tech i.e. FPR (Film-Type Patterned Retarder) discovered & launched by LG.

Till know no 3d tv brand have such option but as LG has launched its Cinema 3d tv a day back in Mumbai, LGs cinema 3d tv is using the latest FPR tech in which you can easily attach your LGs FPR 3d tv glasses with your regular eye specs.

Toshiba has already launched glasses free 3D TV. But it has its limitations that only 11 people can watch 3D at a time and it is not as effective as other present 3D TVs
Photoshop CS5 was launched on 12th April 2012. It is a newer version with new features, software and applications. It features 3D and video editing software.

3D content is becoming more common but in 2012, is still fairly limited. Expect more content to be available in the future and also expect more 3D channels to be launched. For the time being, you will need to research the 3D content available and decide if 3D is the right investment for you.
Well buddy! Recently LG has launched Smart 3d tv in India & LG claims that we are using the FPR 3d tv technology which have the most comfortable 3d glasses throughout the world. Hence, LG provides the most comfortable 3d glasses in India.
I think yes! Today I was reading an article on LGs Face book page that finally LG has launched its 'battery free' comfortable 3d glasses with FPR 3d tech in India. So yes I can say we've 3d glasses without batteries.
