None of the Caliphs has been mentioned in the Qur'an. Caliphate is not a topic of the Qur'an. The name of only one Sihabi (Hazrat Zaid) has been mentioned. A reference to Hazrat Abu Bakr RAU is found in the Qur'an when Hirat from Makka to Madina is mentioned. Our beloved Prophet SAW was accompanied by Hazrat Abu Bakr when both stayed in the Cave of Thore.
