454. if it is also stamped with hi performance, it should have threaded studs for components on heads.
Hi. The 66 Chevy impala conv is 542cm in lenght, and 202 cm wide. Best Regards Norway
well i bought a pair of pre assembled dart iron eagle heads for my 383, mine is all performance though with 2.o2 and 1.60 valves and double springs etc. for 350 and mild 383 you should get a set with 1.96 and 1.55 valves and a smaller combustion chamber.
Yes they are made by http://www.araoengineering.com
I doubt the heavy-duty 427 would work as well as the high-performance 427, because the heavy-duty 427 may be built with heavier materials for reliability, and the high-performance 427 may be built with lighter materials to save weight and increase rev limits.
yes....They did is came in the 69 Z-28 Camaro's they were hi performance engines and with little to nothing just screw driver adjustments they can put out 400-450hp
Every carburetor has the ability to provide good performance. Best to pick a carb for which you can get local support if it needs repair or tuning. I like Holley, but it's because I know how to tune one. I don't know if this is the best carb. for a 350 chevy, but if it is a 4 barrel I strongly recommend an Edelbrock 600 cfm. If the 350 is really hi pro., you may want to go a little bigger. although bigger is not always better.( this is only my opinion from experence.)
Performance (of something) is an abstract noncount noun.
A vacuum gauge can be used to set the timing. I would use a timing light to set it for 40 degrees at 3000 rpm's and then make a pass on the track for a baseline. Then try adjusting up and down 2 degrees at a time until you get the best performance.
Wyotech would be the best place to look http://www.wyotech.edu/ Hope This Helps. (hi)
Nothing that would EVER be noticeable. They are made for a high RPM engine. Better material and stronger to keep it from flying APART from centrifugal force / HIGH RPMs.
Hi I am trying to find the thermostat on my Chevy ventur it is a 1998
