In true solution the molecules of the solute get equally distributed throughout the solvent in the atomic level i.e. at the distance of diameter of an atom. While in colloides the molecules are not mixed in such state. So, using this as a principal to distinguish between colloide & solution. We can centrifuge the two mixtures to distinguish the colooide & solution.
Floculation is the combining of very small pieces into bigger pieces. It's a chemistry term for colloids in solution. The colloids come out of suspension in the form of floc or flakes.
Colloid: A solid which is dispersed amongst a liquid. The solid particles do not settle. Not a solution, because the solid is not dissolved, it is dispersed. Solution: A Mixture of a liquid with a solid dissolved in it. Not a Colloid.
Because more solute will be dissolved in the hot solution than a cold solution, so you will lose solute if the solution is hot.
Filtration, basically filtering the solution. So say you had sand and water, you'd get and empty beaker, put filter paper over it and pour the solution in, sand is left in the paper, water is in the beaker :)
By getting a magnet and hovering it over your skin or whatever it is stuck to. I hope I helped you !
The Tyndall effect is specific for colloids, not for solutions.

Colloids are a special type of solution with very small particles suspended within the solvent. Colloids frequently appear "murky" or "opaque". The particles are large enough to scatter light. You have experience with the way fog interacts with the light from car headlights. Colloids generally do not separate on standing. They are not separated by filtration. With ammonia nothing is in suspension. NH3 is not in a solution and when added to other compounds it becomes a different chemical. Example NH3 + H2O = NH4OH (Anhydrous Ammonia + Water = Ammonium Hydroxide) Ammonium Hydroxide can not be separated back to NH3 and H20 by filtration.
Maple syrup is a solution.

A true solution is homogeneous and generally transparent.
