This only takes two minutes and as far as I can remember detailed instructions are supplied. Next install the 2 cards along with drivers, or one for each PC. Then do a search for wireless networks and you should be picking up your router. All in all, your looking at about 30 mins and its a straight forward process too, nothing too painful.

Yes it would. But you may want to do a small bit of homework and see which ones are recommended. For computers and laptops I would recommend a linksys wrt54g but perhaps for a playstation you might want something a little different, Im not sure. Like I said you will need to do a bit research. Try youtube, I find alot of people post tutorials for problems like this. The problems that the different choices of WiFi routers for the PS3 are greatly reduced because most people purchase a better router than the WiFi G the PS3 uses. After purchasing a Wireless N linksys router I did chose to switch to an ethernet cable for the better wired connection. They have plugs on the back and I still would have needed a router and now I have one if I get a PSP or Laptop. I did notice that they are an item you should never pay full retail and many are greatly discounted like old PS3 games
