  • Quran says (meaning English translation):

"And those who have responded to their lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultationamong themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend"

  • Quran says:

"And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing." (8 : 60-61)

Which best statement best describes Islam?

Eeman-i-Mujmal and Eeman-i-Mufassal describe the basic beliefs of Islam. Apart from those, there are many statements in the Holy Qur'an which describe Islam, in my opinion the following describe Islam in the best way: Sura Al-Ana'am-06, Verse: 162: Say, " Indeed, my prayer, and my service of Sacrifice, my life and my death, are for Almighty Allah, (Rabb) the Cherisher of all the Worlds. 163: There is no Partner to Him, That is what I have been Commanded and I am the first of those who surrender to His Will.
