Jesus is NOT God, therefore no scriptures will prove this. There are MANY scriptures that prove that Jesus was the Son of God.
Besides, the JEWS were waiting for the Messiah not God who would come through the line of David.
Another Answer:
There are many, here is one:
John 1:1-4New International Version (NIV)
The Word Became Flesh1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,and the Word was God.2 He was with God in the beginning.3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
Much confusion exists today with the word 'God' which should be thought of as a 'surname' given that we each have the potential to become members in the God-family (see 2 Corinthians 6:18). Here is another example:
John 10:33-35New International Version (NIV)
33 "We are not stoning you for any good work," they replied, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."
34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are "gods"'[a]?35 If he called them 'gods,' to whom the word of God came-and Scripture cannot be set aside-
Footnotes:he took the word of God. scriptures.
The Scriptures, Rabbinical teaching, the Kingdom of God and being God himself.
Nothing written by a mere man could prove Jesus is God, but it could be capable of proving that the author believedthat Jesus is God. Phillipians chapter 4 contains nothing to indicate whether or not Paul believed Jesus to be God.
in the Christian faith, he is the son of god
god is colorless
It cannot be done.In order to prove that Jesus was the son of God "historically", one must first incontrovertibly prove that God exists. This falls outside of the scope of science (and therefore true history). We then must prove that God impregnated Mary (which would require that God himself testify, since there's no way of performing any sort of genetic test on Mary or Jesus). We then must prove that Jesus was indeed the son of Mary, which too would require genetic testing. So far, we can't even conclusively prove that Jesus existed (though it is possible) in a historical context since it has been shown that the only 3rd party verification of Jesus' existence (the records of Roman historian Josephus) were later proved to be doctored.AnswerRead the Bible. The whole great book testifies that Jesus is the son of God and is God. Science helps prove that God does exist.
To prove that he was not an ordinary man, that God gave him power.
Jesus is part of the trinity which means he is God. John 1:1-2 can prove that Jesus like God always existed. John 1:1-2 "in the beginning was the Word, was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."
In the Book of Revelation all the saints of God have white robes. This is mentioned in several scriptures. the robes are supplied by God. It would then be assumed that God gave jesus his white robe when he was resurrected.
Yes, God, the father of Jesus saw all of Jesus' earthly life, though it was not really a hidden life, but one that we know nothing about except what is written in the Scriptures.
Christians believe that the Scriptures clearly teach that every human being is created in the image of God and redeemed by Jesus Christ.
Errr... yes, it is a sin to lack belief in God and Jesus Christ His Son. It is a sin to not believe in the Holy Scriptures, because the Holy Scriptures contains the word of God, who cannot lie (Numbers 23:19).
