You really need a DVR or a Blu Ray recorder to get the benefits of HD playback..VCR's were pretty much invented in the Dark Ages and they don't play a useful role with HD programming.
Yes, but you will not have HD quality
In order to get the full HD experience you need an HDMI cable to connect a DVD/VCR combo to an HDTV.
Apple HD SC Setup was created in 1986-09.
DVD VCR Combo connected to HD TV cant pick up digital TV. For it to work it has to be connected to a tuner which is purchased.
The only vcr's that come close are actually upscaling dvd/vcr players.Sony and Philips make these. It may be possible to use them to upscale Standard Definition tapes.
The VCR simply doesn't produce that resolution. The best quality you can get is a Super VHS VCR which has the same resolution as DVD.That's far less than High Definition.
You need to use the component PS3 cable that comes with HD PVR 2 to connect to the PS3 and then use the HDMI to connect it to your HDTV
Unfortunately, DVD's, by definition, can't play in HD, only 480p.
You will have to use RCA jacks for your VCR.In general you'll want to hook it up to an auxillary channel. The reason is that your VCR is only going to give you standard definition and you'll want to hook your HD TV up directly to an HD Sources.
HD ready is all setup for HD stuff and Full HD is 1080p. also known as full HD An HD ready set does not have it's own tuner. The best HD tv sets do have their own built in tuners and include the numbers 1080p.
yes, you can connect the red, yellow, white wire to your video game. you can get better recording by using a capture card or hd pvr. recommended capture cards can be googled online. it is much better to get a hd pvr. i use a tristar mx hd pvr from newelectronx. [See Related Links]
Hi !This only applies assuming that this is a cable/antenna tuner not a HD or digital signal .What you'll need to do is find a free input on your tv such as input 1 , 2 , 3 etc . Connect the vcr to the free input using the ouput on the vcr .Then you will hook up your cable/antenna hookup into your vcr's INPUT or LINE IN whatever they call it . Turn on vcr and tv . Be sure to put tv on proper input which would be what ever free input you decided on for the vcr . Then you'll need to turn your vcr to the tuner input . Sometimes you have to press the input button to get there . From that point you will use the vcr remote to change channels .
