has an interesting history, Jakob Mayer started the company in 1890. Around 1892 he produced his first pistol. The company ran fine until 1933 When the NAZI's
forced him to produce firearms for WWII. Air gun production stopped. After the war, in 1945, the company was dismantled and the machinery was sold to the Milbro
company in England. The Trademark name Diana was lost. In 1950 Mayer started production again under the name "Diana Original" in Germany only. Diana Original started making air guns for other companies like HY-Score,
Beeman
and Winchester.
In 1982 Milbro
went out of business and Diana was able to purchase the NAME back. Today Diana is back in business, But has a very foggy history. Have they really been in business for 100 years? (Maybe) As far as I know there is no anniversary model. BUT they did make a MODEL 100 from 1989 top 1998. This may be it.
