Actually it was two cherubim (Exodus 25:18). which is believed to be Michael and Gabriel
Deuteronomy 34:5 merely states that Moses died. Perhaps it can be inferred that the Angel of Death took Moses, but there is no Jewish, Christian, or Muslim tradition that says that an angel killed Moses.
The angel told Moses to take off his shoes. The reason why is because it was holy ground.
Moses died in 1405BC at the age of 120, so he was born in 1525BC, and his God-fearing parents would have circumcised him the 8th day after his birth as commanded.
Moses Project

God inscribed the Law on the first pair of tablets. When Moses came back down from the mountain, though, he discovered that the people had already broken the law and were sinning greatly. In anger Moses smashed the tablets. After this God commanded Moses to return to the mountain, create two more tablets of stone, and inscribe the Law on these replacements. Presumably Moses had memorized what was on the first tablets, or God told Moses what to write.
The answer is simple...we are all children of God...Moses was a man born completely of the flesh of both parents and not devine...There is also a story that the Angel of Death was instructed by God to take Moses' life but Moses turned the Angel away... Bismillah (In the name of God) Sahih Bukhari Volume 2, Book 23, Number 423: Narrated Abu Huraira: The angel of death was sent to Moses and when he went to him, Moses slapped him severely, spoiling one of his eyes. The angel went back to his Lord, and said, "You sent me to a slave who does not want to die." Allah restored his eye and said, "Go back and tell him (i.e. Moses) to place his hand over the back of an ox, for he will be allowed to live for a number of years equal to the number of hairs coming under his hand." (So the angel came to him and told him the same). Then Moses asked, "O my Lord! What will be then?" He said, "Death will be then." He said, "(Let it be) now." He asked Allah that He bring him near the Sacred Land at a distance of a stone's throw. Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Were I there I would show you the grave of Moses by the way near the red sand hill."
Passover is the holiday on which we commemorate the Exodus from Egypt (Exodus ch.12), when God commanded Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery (Exodus ch.3-4 and ch.6).
Pharaoh would not release the Israelites from Egypt. The Israelites were slaves to the Egyptians and God commanded Moses to free them.
