Elephants are poached for their tusks to make ivory objects which can be worth large sums of money.
Rhinos are poached for their horns to make objects aswell. Such as ornamental cups and bowls. They are also worth alot of money.
Wild cats (cheetahs, tigers, jaguars) are poached mainly for their skins. These can make rugs to put on the floor or sometimes hang on walls.
Lots of animals are poached for simple little things like these. These animals are the most endangered/ overpoached ones that i know of.
For example there were hundreds of thousands of Tigers in the world at one point, and now there are only a few thousand of them (3000- 5000 estimate) This is mainly because of poaching for their valuable skin.
The most endangered tiger is the South Chinese Tiger. They say there are fewer than 15 left in the wild.
