Rastafarian's follow a very strict diet which is vegan. Their beliefs are that the body cannot grow spiritually by eating meat. They observed animals being hunted/trapped by humans and seen the fear the animals possessed, and what the animal would do to escape. Nobody is obligated to do anything in this world, but if you call yourself a Rastafarian, then you would be vegan, the same as Shaolin Monks, Gladiators, and etc lived on a vegan diet.
