As is the case with most wild animals, Lynx are only dangerous in certain situations.
The two main reasons a lynx will attack are:
Cornering:
NEVER corner a lynx(or any animal). If a lynx feels as though it has no method of escape except through you, then well....you get the idea.
Cubs:
If a lynx is with its cubs then move away at a brisk pace (do not run however). Almost all wild animals are extremely protective of their young, usually more so than of even themselves. If a lynx thinks its young are in any danger what so ever, it will defend them.
Do not let these rare circumstances ruin your opinion of a lynx however. They are truly beautiful creatures. Just be certain to keep your distance and always be aware of your surrounding when viewing them.
Bears, because they are much larger and may look upon you as prey, where a lynx would not.
It's really the same animal. Grizzlies are an inland race of the brown bear, and are as dangerous as any brown bear.
There are almost no reports of lynxes attacking humans. They generally avoid any confrontation with humans.
yes every wild animal is
lynx
Some dangerous animals in Poland are brown bears and lynx.
There are several kinds of dangerous animals that live in the Alps. There are brown bears, snakes, insects, wolves, and lynx.
Bears
They might, but bears prefer larger game animals like seals or caribou.
