In India, and cheapest configuration is 512MB RAM and 80 GB Harddisk. This may not be the best configuration. But if its going to be cheap and best then, 2GB RAM and 250GB RAM is best for Indian people.
It depends on what operating system you have and what you want to do. If you have Vista, then you want at least 1 gb of ram. If you have XP, then 512 mb of ram would be sufice. If you like to play memory intensive games like World of Warcraft and such games, then you should have 2 gb of ram
The Compaq V5000 laptop comes with only 1 gigabyte of RAM. You could play games on it but it wouldn't be fast. You would need to upgrade the laptop with RAM for it to be faster for games.
some modern motherboards can handle 8-12 gb of ram but your motherboard has a specific amount it can carry, and your best bet would be to check the manufacturers website. BTW; a good ram provider is:www.crucial.com
Yes it is possible to have 5 GB of RAM on a computer, because I have had a computer that has had 6 GB of RAM on it.
It all depends. My computer has 8 GB of Ram with a 1 GB graphics card. This suffices for all the games I play. There are systems out there that are almost server-like and have 24 GB of ram and 4 GB of graphics. Those systems can do anything.
1 GB of RAM (Random Access Memory) isn't very much. If your computer can support it, it is best to get 4-6 GB RAM for maximum efficiency.
any laptop with 4 gigabyte RAM and 1 gigabyte graphic card will work perfectly!
There are 1024 MB in a gigabyte.
The minimum requirement for RAM to run windows 7 is 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit).
A 1 gigabyte RAM can extend by buying RAM upgrade chips, and inserting them into your computer.
I suppose that you are talking about memory or aka (RAM).if you have two 512mb sticks of RAM you have one gigabyte of RAM. The more RAM you have the faster your computer will be. So the awnser is RAM or A Gigabyte.
