In my experience and knowledge, the private lawyers have better income or money in comparison to the prosecutors.
Due to many variables such as location, experience, etc. a specific answer isn't possible. Assuming the question refers to public rather than private prosecutors, the salary range can be anywhere from $20,000 to $110,000 +.

I would contact the prosecuting attorney, if what you are saying is that you paid for this and they company is no longer in business, you should attempt to get your money back.
It depends on where you live and work. A prosecuting attorney can make as liitle as $22,000 starting out, but a recruit to a big defense firm can start out at five times that much.
The money belongs to her estate. The executor of the estate will distribute it according to the will.
That's an unwarranted assumption. Obviously a famous private attorney working for the super rich is going to make more money than the district attorney of some small town in the middle of the midwest. On the other hand, a big city District Attorney is going to make a lot more money than a private attorney in that same small town, who mainly ekes out a modest living drawing up wills, defending teenage shoplifters pro bono, and dreaming of the day he might land a protracted divorce case.
Cops commit fraud to get people to plead guilty when they are innocent. This actually happened to me. I got arrested for prostitution and the cop who arrested me created a computerized phone conversation of me saying orally hand and mouth after he asked me if I was full service and I said "No". He used the recording to convince the prosecuting attorney I was guilty of asking him to pay me money for oral sex when I only told him he was paying me for a rubdown. The prosecuting attorney refused to listen to my attorney even when he had proof with phone records that the recording was a fraud. I ended up getting threatened by the prosecuting attorney saying I would get charged for harassment of the officer and he would have six of the SWAT team officers present at my arrest testify against me if I went to a jury trial. I ended up taking deferred adjudication with a year probation and community service. The cop committed a crime of fraud and I got the rap. This is why cops commit fraud because they can get away with it. Sad, but true.
There is no one answer- will depend on where you practice, what kind of law, how long you have been in the business, etc. A beginner practicing family law may make $25,000 a year, an experienced business and contract attorney $150,000.
New York City has the most attorneys. They have spent the most money on attorney advertising.
Money.
The state generally does not waste their time or the taxpayer's money prosecuting someone if they have no evidence of a crime, therefore, I suspect they do have evidence of some sort. Talk to an attorney ASAP. And then stay away from children.
Hire another attorney, or find an attorney that will work probono (offer ~50% to insure you find someone who will take it). He will guide you the rest of the way. Also If you have a complaint with an attorney you should contact the local Bar Association as they are the regulatory body governing attorney conduct.
