They are all equally good, the only difference is in the wattage. If you need more sound, then go with a higher wattage speaker.
Kenwood makes some very good, crisp speakers that put out excellent sound.
You go into the bathroom fill the bathtub up with water and put your speakers in there.
Speakers can be used for any device that is intended to emit audio. Computers, MP3 players, cell phones, televisions etc. If the device is made to put out sound, chances are it already has speakers or is designed to have speakers used with it.
This may be a silly answer, but have you put your tablet on mute? If you tablet reports that the sound is working normally, there may be a problem with your speakers.
Not much info in you question but Good Speakers connected to a 100 watt amplifier will improve the average sound system, speakers are the weakest link in the sound system so you should put most of your money there.

Size is not a big issue other than for base reasons. When you have smaller speakers they look more attractive its easier to find a place to put them and they sound just as good as big speakers.
Yes, you can put rear speakers up front in a car, but it may not provide the best sound experience. Rear speakers are typically designed to complement front speakers, not replace them, as they may not be optimized for the soundstage and imaging that front speakers provide. Additionally, the wiring and mounting may require some modifications to ensure proper installation and functionality.
The front speakers should be 6.5" and the rear should be 6x9". You will want to make sure you have the correct ohm speakers though. My 2004 impala has 2ohm speakers and my friends has 4ohm speakers. You can put 4 ohm speakers in a 2 ohm system but your sound quality will suffer greatly. Do not put 2 ohm speakers in a 4 ohm system though, that will cause bigger problems.
Put speakers in recycle bin. Buy new ones. Check if the headphone jack is working on your computer, if it is not, replace your sound card.
Mine will do this if the headphone jack is not completely seated in the plug. Just give a little push and see if it goes on in any further, you may feel or hear a little click as it seats itself.
The problem is in the headphone jack. It has a switch that shuts off the speakers when you plug in headphones, but that switch is stuck on. You will have to have the jack replaced if it is built in to the motherboard or on a connector on the front of the tower, or you can replace the sound card.
