Please can someone answer this question. I am taking Metoprolol (4 years now) and my hair is thinning and there is always a lot of hair in my shower drain. I am scared. I have an aneurysm so I will be on this medication for the rest of my life so I cannot quit....but if there is something else out there that does the same thing for me, but, doesn't cause my hair to fall out, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS. However, it is listed by many experts as a side effect by medical professionals in medical articles. The hair will grow back when the medication is stopped. I may take a while though, like a month or two. Right now I'm the guy walking around with no eyebrows, and shave only once every two weeks. Hope to back to normal in a couple of months.
