WBC's
there is about a 1000 to 1 to 2000 to 1 ratio of RBCs to WBCs
1000 red blood cells To 1 white blood cell
There are 500 white blood cells to every 1000 red blood cells (or you could say there is double the amount of red blood cells). The answer would be 200 red blood cells for every 100 white blood cells.
New fresh blood cells can be formed in under 24hours. Some people have it good and they produce blood in about an hour, not a whole lot but enough to replace the blood you would lose if you got a cut and lost a lot.
1mm=1000 µmtherefore can fit 1000 cellsThis answer was actually correct... But needs more information.Average Human RBC (erythrocyte) diameter of 6–8µmSo, 7.5µm would be within the statistical average. And 7.5mm = 7500µm.So 7500µm / 7.5µm/cell = 1000 cells.
Blood cells are predominantly red cells. They outnumber the white cells by a factor of 1000:1 to 2000:1 in normal humans. The composition of blood is 55% plasma and 45% formed elements. The formed elements are mostly red blood cells, which make up 44% of total blood volume. The remaining 1% consists of white blood cells and platelets. Appx. 700:1 Blood consists of formed elements (red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets) and plasma. Red blood cells (erythrocytes) account for 99.9% of cells. Plasma 55%, and Cells 45%.
The average human body has about 7,000 white blood cells per microliter of blood. The average adult human has about 5.25 liters of blood, or 5,250,000 microliters. Multiplying these two numbers gives a total of almost 37 billion white blood cells. Note that this is simply an average.
The red cell count is in millions whereas the white cells and platelets are in thousands. So the ratio is about 1000:1 - or 99.9% red cells and 0.1% white cells and platelets.
It depends on how low. The white blood cells are the infection fighting cells. An individual with a wbc below 1000 would be at risk of catching an infection ,and not have the ability to fight it off.
5 million red cells and 10000 wite cells ( I'm only 10 and I answered it.)
Monocytes are: kidney shaped nucleus amiboid ( not round; squeeze around other cells) largest White Blood Cells ( 16-22 um diameter) exit into tissues- become macrophages removal of ages red blood cells and other debris antigen processing 3rd most common WBC
If this number is for a white blood cell count, then it may indicate cancer of the blood or bone marrow, or cancer that has metastasized somewhere in the body. The normal blood count for white blood cells is between 3,500 and 10,500. A count below 1000 is cause for concern.
