book 2, don't you read them?
Saphira1
yes he does, in the end of the second book it says he gets a red dragon named thorn.
it does not tell when he hatched but he first appears in book 1 (Eldest) chapter 68 (Eldest) where he battles eragon for the first time
Murtagh, Erafons supposed brother.
He is not evil he is just like Murtagh he is doing what's best for him to stay alive and he is sort of selfish
murtagh and the dragon is RED and called thorn
Murtagh willl most probably try to free himself from Galbatorix's clutches. Galbatorix may have Murtagh's Eldunari, being able to control Thorn's body and Murtagh's mind. Murtagh and Thorn could help free the green dragon egg and get it to the Varden because Murtagh may not want the dragon to be in bondage. Murtagh may also die in battle. Murtagh may kill another major character, either himself or a tool of Galbatorix. To find out more go to inheriwiki.com.
In the second book Eldest, at the Battle of the Burning Plains.
Eragon was the first known Dragon Rider, besides Galbatorix after the fall, then they found Oromis, and Glaedr, then the last one to be seen is Murtagh and Thorn,
Murtagh is taken to Galbatorix and then an egg hatches for Murtagh.( a red dragon named Thorn ) there is a chapter near the end called Burning Plains that will tell you more.
Technically without the support of Galbatorix and the Eldunari Eragon and Saphira would be more powerful than Thorn and Murtagh. But since Murtagh is receiving aid he is currently stronger than Eragon
it isn't nusada it is murtagh and the dragon id red called thorn
I've got the book right here in front of me! Lets see...It happens in two chapters: Unexpected Guests and Fire in the Sky.The actual attack starts on page 306 and ends on page 335. That's 29 pages. Eragon first sees Murtagh and Thorn at the bottom of page 310. The battle between Eragon and Murtagh begins on page 317 and ends on page 329. Murtagh and Thorn escaped and flew away to Uru'baen on page 329 and page 330. The last soldier of the Laughing Dead attack died on page 335.Hope that helps!
