It all depends on the breed. In reality though, any horse can live outside and any horse can live in a stable. It is much healthier for a horse to live outside all the time as opposed to in the stable all the time.There are several reasons for this. A) It gives them a natural way to exercise and interact with other horses. B) In the stable there are always lots of things like dust that a horse kept inside constantly can inhale, which can later lead to breathing difficulties, diseases, etc. C) Stable horses are more prone to develop bad habits such as cribbing, pacing, etc. These are just a few but it depends on the horse and as I said previously, the breed. Some horse breeds are more adapted to living outdoors and some may be more thin skinned.
